Born and raised in Chengdu, China, Ric Yang is an illustrator whose practice focuses on storytelling, visual narrative, and contemporary image-making. She received her B.F.A. in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2024 and will receive her M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD in 2026. Her work has been exhibited in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York, recognized by 3x3, Hiii Illustration, AI-AP, IDA, Silent Manga Audition, and the Society of Illustrators, and featured in selected publications including Artistonish, Visual Opinion, and SCAD Illustration Showcase.
