Stray Rats

Original Character IP / Character Design / Visual Storytelling

Stray Rats is an original character IP designed for the streetwear brand “Stray Rats,” founded in Miami in 2010. It is about urban rats dealing with everyday chaos, bad luck, and small emotional breakdowns. The project uses expressive poses, rough humor, and hand-drawn line work to build a cast of characters that can expand into Web Design, Comics, stickers, merchandise, social media content, and short animations.

Logo Development

A graffiti-inspired logotype developed through sketch refinement, focusing on bold form, hand-drawn texture, and a high-contrast color system. The street-style logo can also be applied to real urban settings, such as subway posters or wall graphics in New York, using graffiti culture to strengthen the brand’s visibility.
